Ti-Alliance Receives Grant from the Glenn & Carol Pearsall Adirondack Foundation

Updated: Feb 17, 2022

October 26, 2021 Ticonderoga, NY – The Ticonderoga Revitalization Alliance has received a $5,000 grant from the Glenn & Carol Pearsall Adirondack Foundation to support the expansion of its student programs in the 2021/2022 school year.

This is the second year that the Pearsall Adirondack Foundation has chosen to support Ti-Alliance. In 2020 the grant helped foster the operations and expansion of Ti-Works, the co-working space in downtown Ticonderoga, and create the Students in the Field career exploration program. This year the funding will help Ti-Alliance expand Students in the Field and add new in-school experiences for students.

“The Glenn & Carol Pearsall Adirondack Foundation is dedicated to improving the quality of life for year-round residents of the Adirondack Park.” said Ti-Alliance’s Executive Director, Donna Wotton. “We love the insightful strategy of their philanthropy. They focus on small, front-line organizations like Ti-Alliance where they can maximize their impact on individual lives. This year the grant will help fund the part-time employment of Melinda Fuller, the School Programs Coordinator. With Melinda ‘in the chair,’ we can continue to expand these opportunities for our students and have a significant impact on building a more skilled workforce in our area.”
