February 22, 2022 Ticonderoga, NY – The Ticonderoga Revitalization Alliance is pleased to announce it has made its first loan from the Entrepreneurs Fund. The loan was made to the Burleigh Luncheonette to facilitate its expansion. Owners Mark, Debbie, and Don Barber will use the funding to purchase new restaurant seating for their growing business. Upon completion, the project will nearly double the Burleigh Luncheonette’s capacity.
“We are excited to be the first recipients of the Ti-Alliance Entrepreneurs Fund. This fund is a tremendous asset for our local businesses. It provides quick access to funding so businesses can make improvements and continue to grow,” said Mark Barber. “The application process was one of the easiest we have done, and given that Ti-Alliance is a non-profit, they were able to set terms that are more than reasonable. We look forward to welcoming our community to the ‘new’ Burleigh's! Thank you, Ti-Alliance, for your commitment to helping our area businesses!” said Mark Barber.
Ti-Alliance Executive Director, Donna Wotton, added, “We’re so happy to congratulate the Barbers on all their hard work and offer best wishes for their continued success. This first loan to the Burleigh Luncheonette is a great example of how the Ti-Alliance Entrepreneurs Fund is designed to stimulate start-up and expansion of small businesses in Ticonderoga, Hague, Crown Point, and Putnam with very low-interest, flexible-termed loans up to $20,000.”
